Sazerac Bar
The watering hole of choice for the Kingfish (Louisiana’s 40th Governor, Huey P. Long). Honey-colored African walnut wood and 1930s WPA-era murals by artist Paul Ninas. Obviously you are drinking a Sazerac here, but the Ramos Gin Fizz was Huey’s cocktail of choice.

Bellocq | Cure | Perestroika at PravdaThe trio of modern style cocktail bars from Neal Bodenheimer and team. Bellocq is located in The Hotel Modern and is known for their cobblers which were all the rage back in the mid-1800s. Cure was the first of the trio
and was built in a renovated firehouse. It? immediately garnered a bartender following. Neal describes it as modern craft cocktails steeped in history. Neal loved the? French Quarter hidden spot Perestroika so much that he bought the bar. Their list emphasizes vodka and absinthe along with Eastern European beers.
